Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the app “Clock Professor” (the App) handles personal and other information.
The App collects no information that identifies its users.
Recorded voices and learning records are stored only on the device.
The only automatic network request is a check for app updates. Voices and records are never sent.
The developer cannot receive, view or listen to any of it.
1. Information we do not collect
The App does none of the following.
- Asking for account registration, sign-in, or an email address
- Asking for a name, date of birth, school year, or anything else that could identify a user
- Sending recorded voices, learning records, or any other user-created data outside the device
- Collecting information for usage analysis (access analytics, behaviour logs)
- Showing advertising, or using data for advertising purposes
- Obtaining location, contacts, calendar, photos, camera, or device identifiers (including advertising identifiers)
The developer operates no server for the App, and the App implements no mechanism for sending user-created data. No third-party analytics or advertising components are embedded.
The only automatic network request the App makes is a check for app updates. At launch it checks whether the developer has published newer content. What is sent is limited to the app's version, basic platform information (the type of device and its OS version), and an installation identifier generated by the update client. These are used only to decide whether an update is required and to serve the correct content. The developer has no means of inspecting them, and they are never used for analytics, advertising or tracking. Recorded voices and learning records are never sent in this request. Update delivery uses Expo Application Services. Apart from this, network requests occur only in the cases listed in section 3.
2. Information stored on the device
The App stores the following only within the user's device.

These are stored in the App's own area on the device. The App never uses photos or the camera. It neither writes to nor reads from the device's photo library.
Learning records are used to draw the pictures on the screen a parent looks at. No scores, no rankings, and no comparison with other children.
3. When information leaves the device
Recorded voices and learning records are never sent automatically by the App. They leave the device only when a parent explicitly chooses to do so. In every case the destination is chosen by the person operating the device, and the developer does not receive the contents.
- Exporting a backup: the App creates a file (ZIP) containing the parent's voice, learning records, stickers and settings, and hands it to the device's share sheet. Where it is saved (cloud storage, a files app, and so on) is chosen by the person operating the device. Purchase state is not included in this file.
- Links to external sites: from the screens intended for parents, the App may open the websites of the sound assets it uses. What happens on those sites is governed by their own terms.
- Checking for app updates: this is the only network request that happens automatically, without any action. At launch the App checks whether the developer has published newer content. What is sent is limited to the app's version, the type of device and its OS version, and an installation identifier; voices and learning records are not sent. This mechanism is provided by Expo Application Services.
Data may also be included in the backup features provided by the device's operating system (such as iCloud Backup). This is a function of the operating system, and the developer cannot view its contents.
4. Use of device features

None of these are used unless the user permits them. Permissions can be changed at any time in the device settings.
The App performs no speech recognition. Recorded audio is never turned into text, and is never sent to an external speech recognition service. It is used only as it is, for reading aloud.
5. Children's privacy
The App is intended mainly for children approaching school age. The following are therefore design principles.
- No personal information is collected from the child. There is no screen for entering an age or contact details.
- No advertising and no third-party analytics components are embedded.
- Links that leave the App and the purchase flow are placed only deep inside the screens intended for parents, behind a check for adults (one multiplication question).
- The App has no messaging, posting or sharing between users.
- The screens a child sees contain no prices, no purchase buttons and no links to external sites.
6. About purchases
The App offers a one-time purchase that adds courses and features. The purchase is handled by the App Store; the developer never receives payment details such as card numbers. The information showing whether a purchase has been made is stored on the device and is not sent anywhere.
This information is not included in the backup file. When changing devices, please use “Restore Purchase”.
7. Deleting data
Stored data can be deleted in the following ways.
- Delete recorded voices one at a time, from the screen intended for parents
- Delete the App from the device (the data stored inside the App is deleted with it)
Because the developer holds no copy of the data, there is no process for accepting deletion requests.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may change as laws change or features are added. When an important change is made, the date of the change is shown on this page.
